ABOUT US The experience Vadas Kerb has goes back more than 50 years, when James Vadas’ father, Ziggy Vadas started a kerb company in Newcastle in 1962. Father passed skills to son, and James continues the tradition with Vadas Kerb. We are a kerb company that is small and hands-on, with James running the crew. This ensures consistent quality kerbs. We specialise in Car Parks, Roads, Highways and Subdivisions. Reliability is critical when it comes to kerb contractors, as the kerb needs to be laid before asphalt and landscaping is done. Vadas Kerb has a policy of being conservative when booking in jobs so as not to overbook. Although rain and other factors can infuence job programming, we take your booking seriously. Safety and Compliance Vadas Kerb understands the importance of safety, and complies with all government WHS requirements. We have developed a SWMS and work in accordance with it. Vadas Kerb has $20 million Public Liability, Motor Vehicle Insurance, and Workers Compensation. Vadas Kerb has employees and does not make use of sub-contract labour. Equipment – Slipform and Extrusion Kerbing Machines Vadas Kerb has more than 15 kerb machines at its disposal, both extruder and slipformer kerb machines, with all NSW RMS (RTA) profiles along with council profiles to suit the Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Central Coast, Sydney and North Coast council areas. We can slipform kerbs as small as 150 x 150mm to roll kerb, kerb and gutter, 1.2m wide SK dish drain and even Redirective kerbs such as Elsholz barrier kerb (aka Elscholz) and Trief kerbing. If you are doing a road reconstruction or RMS concrete road, we can slipform “scab on” SA or SO kerb and gutter directly to the pavement edge. Contact us today for more information.
No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
If this is your business, you can claim the record to add a verified contact, licence anchor, and service area.
