ABOUT US The family business has been operating in Brisbane in ground maintenance for 30 years. During the period zacsmowing has been contracting to the Brisbane City Council, we have cut most of the parkland and roads around Brisbane. Recently, we completed five year park maintenance contracts on 31-10-2014 for four zones – Richlands, Moorooka , Macgregor and Doboy. Also, we have cut grass for other Councils previously – Redcliffe (now part of Moreton Bay Regional Council), Toogoolawah (now part of Somerset Regional Council) and Logan City Council. Most of our staff are very experienced in this type of work having previous employment with Councils, other contractors or have owned their own mowing business. Our current fleet consists of Landini 4WD tractors, Toro Zero Turns, Toyota Dyna Trucks, Toyota Hilux Utilities, Polaris Magnum Quad Bike, tilt and box trailers, mowing decks and slashers ranging in size from 6 feet to 12 feet. The transport side of the business commenced in 2007 and has grown rapidly. The fleet now includes Kenworth, Volvo, International prime movers, flat top and drop deck trailers, ISO tanker and Vacuum tankers. The vacuum tankers are used in waste removal whilst the ISO tank with a capacity of 20,000 litres carts dangerous goods. The flat tops have been engaged in carting steel pipes from Brisbane to Gladstone and from Dalby to mining towns like Moranbah, Dysart, etc. Our 45 foot drop deck has hydraulic ramps to enable us to cart plant and machinery. We are able to set up tankers and trailers in single, b-double or road train configurations. The majority of our drivers are experienced in most aspects of the industry having previously worked for other companies. zacsmowing Pty Ltd adheres to a quality policy, a health and safety policy and environmental policy. Our workshop is operating under environmental registration from city council. This service also includes the removal of small shrubs and trees. For large jobs your local Jim can arrange for a tree specialist to undertake this task. Gutter Cleaning Gutters need to be cleared regularly to avoid water build up and overflow that causes damage to your roof and house. Navigating your way around gutters can be dangerous and you may risk damage to the roof itself. Our staff have the equipment and training that will ensure that your gutters are cleaned quickly without leaving a mess or damaging your roof or gutters. Rubbish Removal Clearing your yard of garden and general rubbish can be an arduous task and is one that many of us put off for far too long.
